The 2024/25 Upper Deck MVP Hockey Hobby Box kicks off the annual hockey collecting season with an accessible but feature-packed release. MVP features a 250-card base checklist made up of 200 veteran cards and 50 SP/rookie cards, giving collectors a strong foundation for the new year. Each hobby box delivers one rare card, one 10th Anniversary Gold Script or Mascot Talent Gold card, five Silver Script parallels, ten base SPs and rookies, and a full mix of new insert themes. Printing Plates for the entire base set are also in play, adding additional chase value.

This year introduces exciting new insert lines including Above the Crease, Under the Scope, It’s Their Time, and Mascot Talent. Each offers multiple parallels, highlighted by Gold and scarce Black 1-of-1 tiers. The 10th Anniversary subset pays tribute to the classic 2014–15 MVP design, complemented by Gold Script and Super Script parallels.
