Product Overview

The 2025/26 Upper Deck MVP Hockey Hobby Box kicks off the new collecting season with an accessible yet content-rich checklist centered around rookies, parallels, and fun insert themes. Each box offers a strong mix of veteran cards, short prints, and early rookie content, including ten SP or Rookie cards along with several Silver Script parallels. Collectors will also find one rare card per box, making it a reliable entry point into the new NHL card year.

MVP features a 250-card base set built from 200 regular cards and 50 SP and Rookie short prints. The parallel lineup adds chase value, highlighted by Super Script cards numbered to 25 and Black Super Script one-of-one parallels. Colors and Contours returns with three levels of serial-numbered designs in Gold, Green, and Purple, offering some of the most visually iconic cards in the MVP brand. Printing Plates also exist for the full base set.

This year introduces several new insert sets that add more personality and variety to every box. Mascot Battle pairs team mascots in energetic head-to-head designs, while Net Presence spotlights players who excel around the crease. Rising to the Occasion focuses on clutch performers, and Coming to Your Rink showcases standout player duos across the league. The Laser Focused insert makes its debut with goalie-themed cards and low-numbered parallels, numbered as low as 10.

For the first time, MVP includes sticker cards. Mascot Stickers highlight fan-favorite mascots, and Hello My Name Is Stickers introduce rookies with a playful design twist. Rookie Redemptions and #1 Draft Pick SP redemptions are also available, including a rare Gold parallel.
